Ten Water Supply Networks Opened in Six Districts of Baghlan

Ten water supply networks in six districts of Baghlan province have been completed and handed over for public use. The projects, which cost more than 42 million Afghanis, have made it possible for thousands of families to access clean and safe water.

The networks were built in various districts of Baghlan, including areas with severe drinking water shortages. However, the importance of such projects comes as large parts of Afghanistan still suffer from a lack of standard drinking water sources.

The Taliban administration has not yet commented on these projects, but many water supply problems remain across different provinces and still require serious attention.

Baghlan province is one of the sensitive regions in northern Afghanistan and faces a shortage of reliable water sources. Water supply improvement projects are considered an essential need for the people of the area.
