Construction of 10-Kilometre Road Completed in Kunar’s Sarkani District

Construction of a 10-kilometre road in Sarkani district of Kunar province has been completed and the route has been opened for public use.
According to published information, the cost of building the road was 8.9 million Afghanis. No further details were provided about when the work began or which body was responsible for carrying out the project.
Local residents said the completion of the road has removed a large part of the difficulties they faced in travelling. They said the route has made daily movement easier for people.
Sarkani district is one of the border areas of Kunar province, where many residents in several parts face a shortage of standard transport infrastructure.
