Road Paving Work Begins in Erfan Township, Herat

Road paving work for the end of Erfan Township road in District Six of Herat province has commenced with a budget of four million Afghanis, funded by the Herat Municipality. According to Haji Maulvi Hamdullah Namani, the mayor of Herat, the project covers 290 meters in length and eight meters in width, and the construction began in the presence of local elders and community leaders. The mayor of Herat stated that implementing infrastructure and development projects across various parts of the city is one of the municipality’s key programs. He added that through the execution of such projects, efforts are made to provide greater facilities and ease for the city’s residents.
