New Health Center Opens in Konar’s Shultan District

A newly constructed health center in the Rodo area, located in Shultan District of Konar Province, has officially been inaugurated following the completion of construction work. The total cost of building the center is reported to be 18.2 million Afghanis.

According to provided information, the project’s budget was funded by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR). This international agency works in delivering humanitarian services and supporting vulnerable communities.

Konar Province, situated in eastern Afghanistan, has several districts that face shortages of health services due to their remote locations from urban centers. The establishment of such centers aims to facilitate access for residents of distant areas to basic health services.
