Residents of Chahar Asiab Demand Construction of Road to Ease Access

Mullah Abdul Latif Mansoor, the Taliban Minister of Rural Rehabilitation and Development, met with several elders from Tangi Seydan village in Chahar Asiab district, Kabul, and promised to examine and follow up on the village’s road issue based on available resources.

According to information published by the ministry to Bakhtar News Agency, the meeting took place today, during which the local residents shared their problems and needs with the minister. They stated that the lack of a standard road in the village has made transportation difficult and restricted access to basic services.

The Minister of Rural Rehabilitation and Development stated in the meeting that the construction of the mentioned road would be addressed within the framework of the ‘available resources’ and in accordance with the principle of balanced development. However, no details regarding the timeline, budget, or implementation of the project were provided.

Residents of Chahar Asiab are urging practical attention to infrastructure projects, especially as many rural areas have faced shortages of essential services in recent years. It is expected that the Taliban administration will offer clear and specific plans for improving rural infrastructure rather than general promises, in order to strengthen public trust in the development process.
