60 Houses Completed for Earthquake Victims in Herat

Construction of 60 residential houses for families affected by the earthquake in the village of Bidak Murad Kohi, Ghorian district, Herat province, has been completed and handed over. This project was implemented at a cost of 20 million Afghanis.

The Afghan Red Crescent Society announced that these houses were built to provide permanent shelter for families who lost their homes due to recent earthquakes in Herat.

With the completion of this project, accommodation has been provided for 420 earthquake victims. Herat province, located in the west of the country, has experienced several strong earthquakes in recent years, causing extensive human and financial losses to residents in some districts.
