First Direct Flight from Herat to Dubai Officially Launched

Direct flights from Khwaja Abdullah Ansari International Airport in Herat to Dubai have officially commenced for the first time. This weekly air route is expected to significantly ease travel between the city of Herat in western Afghanistan and Dubai.

Airport officials in Herat announced that the inaugural flight of this route carried fifty-three passengers from Herat to Dubai. This initiative could reduce the need for indirect routes and facilitate economic and social connections between the two cities.
