Afghanistan’s Environmental Protection Head Attends International Conference in Malaysia

Matinul Haq Khalis, the Director General of Afghanistan’s Environmental Protection Agency, participated in the International Environmental Education Conference held in the Malaysian state of Sarawak. During the two-day conference, representatives from various countries and United Nations organizations discussed and exchanged views on topics such as climate change, environmental awareness, and waste management. Additionally, on the sidelines of the event, Khalis met and held talks with the Deputy Chief Minister of Sarawak. The conference served as an opportunity to share experiences and enhance regional cooperation in environmental protection.
