ICRC Supplies Medical Equipment to Herat Regional Hospital to Boost Emergency Care
The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) has announced that it provided essential medical equipment and supplies to Herat Regional Hospital to enhance its treatment capacity.
On Sunday, July 25, the ICRC shared a message on its X (formerly Twitter) page stating that the aid aims to strengthen the hospital’s preparedness for emergency situations and to improve medical services for the injured.
According to the ICRC, the supplied equipment enables doctors and healthcare staff to deliver more effective services during emergencies and save more patients’ lives.
Herat Regional Hospital is considered one of the main medical centers in western Afghanistan, with patients from neighboring provinces also seeking specialized treatment at this facility.
