Mulla Baradar Emphasizes Preserving Islamic System During Visit to Arghandab

Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar, Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs of the Taliban administration, during a trip to Dehrawood district in Arghandab province, met with several military and civilian officials and stressed the importance of serving the people and supporting the “Islamic system.” According to the Taliban’s Ministry of Defense, he also evaluated the progress of the road construction between the center of Arghandab and Dehrawood.
Based on the released statement, Baradar met with the commander of the Lawai Rawaha related to the 205 Al-Badr Army Corps, the district governor of Dehrawood, and the police chief of the district. He urged officials to serve the people “under all circumstances” and to promptly address the residents’ problems.
The Deputy Prime Minister described the current regime as a “product of the people’s sacrifices” and emphasized preserving and supporting it. This comes as some residents of Arghandab previously expressed concerns over the lack of basic services and security challenges in some areas, expecting more practical accountability from local authorities.
Arghandab is a southern province of the country, where Dehrawood is considered an important district. The mentioned road plays a key role in transportation and trade between the provincial center and this district.
