UN Refugee Agency Praises Humanitarian Workers in Afghanistan

The UN High Commissioner for Refugees has said it appreciates humanitarian workers in Afghanistan for continuing to operate alongside communities in need.
In a post on X on Wednesday, 28 Asad, the agency said the efforts and dedication of these workers are helping to save lives, preserve dignity and strengthen hope among people facing difficult conditions.
According to the agency, humanitarian workers have remained with people in need and continue to work to address their needs.
UNHCR also stressed that these workers’ commitment in difficult circumstances plays an important role in supporting people and protecting their dignity.
The UN High Commissioner for Refugees is one of the main United Nations agencies supporting refugees, internally displaced people and other vulnerable groups, and it is also active in Afghanistan in relief and humanitarian support.
