Afghanistan Health Minister Discusses Expanding Cooperation With Russian Delegation

Mawlawi Noor Jalal Jalali, acting minister of public health in the Taliban administration, met and held talks in his office with a Russian delegation and representatives of that country’s embassy in Afghanistan.

At the meeting, the two sides discussed expanding mutual cooperation in the health sector between Afghanistan and Russia. Russian representatives at the meeting stressed their commitment to broadening cooperation in the field of health.

The talks came as the Taliban administration continues to face widespread problems in the country’s health system and remains in need of international support.
