Taliban Administration Approves $9.6 Million in Investments to Boost Afghan Economy

The Taliban Ministry of Industry and Commerce has announced that the Committee for Providing Facilities to Returning Traders and Industrialists has approved investment documents worth over $9.6 million for 17 individuals.

According to the ministry, these investments are planned to be implemented across various sectors, creating job opportunities for thousands. The Taliban administration claims that the execution of these projects will contribute to strengthening Afghanistan’s economy.

This development comes amid years of economic downturn, decreased investment, and rising unemployment in the country, which has forced many Afghan traders to limit or cease their activities.

The mentioned committee was established by the Taliban Ministry of Industry and Commerce to address the challenges and facilitate support for traders and industrialists who have returned to Afghanistan after leaving the country.
