The Special Trust Fund for Afghanistan (STFA) has reported that providing economic opportunities for women can significantly increase employment and income generation among other women.
According to the report, supporting women entrepreneurs not only expands the scope of their economic activities but also creates conditions for training and skill development for other women to achieve financial independence.
An example of this success can be seen in Nangarhar province, where a woman who started by making pickles and jams in her home kitchen was able to increase her production by fifty percent and bring her products to larger markets in Jalalabad city with the help of equipment and financial support.
This process has led to training other women, some of whom have launched small businesses after acquiring new skills. The Special Trust Fund for Afghanistan emphasized that supporting just one woman can spark the creation of economic opportunities for many others and pave the way for their economic independence.
