Kremlin Says US Congress Obstruction Against Trump is an Internal Matter

Dmitry Peskov, the spokesperson for the Kremlin, responded to a question about the possibility of the US Congress obstructing Donald Trump after the elections by emphasizing that this is an internal issue for the United States and has no connection to Russia.
Peskov also stated that Moscow expects Trump to continue his peace efforts regarding the Kyiv crisis after the congressional elections and that his administration’s peace-oriented approach towards Ukraine should be maintained.
Some reports indicate a decline in voter support for Republicans and Trump critics due to his controversial decisions, such as the potential US involvement in a war against Iran and some of his extreme behaviors. Politico, citing opinions from Republican activists, identified these issues as reasons for the party’s reduced vote share.
