Afghan Private Sector Delegation Travels to Tehran for Economic Cooperation Summit

Kamaluddin Tawhid, head of the Afghanistan-Iran Joint Chamber of Commerce, is leading a delegation of private sector representatives from Afghanistan to Tehran to participate in the 10th Economic Cooperation Development Summit between the two countries.
The summit aims to explore ways to expand trade and economic cooperation between Afghanistan and Iran, while introducing investment opportunities and capacities in the Afghan market to Iranian economic activists.
Key agenda items include bilateral meetings between traders from both countries and the signing of memorandums of understanding on cooperation in trade, investment, and other economic sectors.
Afghanistan and Iran are considered important economic partners. In recent years, through joint summits and trade exhibitions, they have worked to enhance trade exchanges and cooperation between the private sectors of both countries.
