US Central Command Reports Latest Strikes on Multiple Military Targets in Iran

The United States Central Command (CENTCOM) announced that a new wave of attacks on what it described as “military targets” across several areas in Iran has concluded. The statement from the entity said that dozens of targets in various locations were struck.
CENTCOM claimed that, for the first time in this operation, suicide drones and suicide boats were used. According to the command, air defense systems, radars, missile capabilities, and some boats were targeted to reduce Iran’s military capabilities.
The statement further emphasized that the Strait of Hormuz is a vital waterway for international trade and that Iran does not control it. The Strait of Hormuz is one of the world’s most important energy transit routes, with a significant portion of oil trade passing through it.
In contrast, reports have emerged indicating that some civilian infrastructure and fishing boats were also damaged during these attacks. Iranian officials have not yet provided official details regarding the extent of possible damages.
These developments come amid ongoing tensions between Washington and Tehran, with growing concerns over the potential escalation of conflicts in the region.
