Afghan Chamber of Commerce Meets Chinese Officials to Discuss Joint Investment and Trade Expansion

The leadership delegation of the Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment, during its visit to China, met with the Deputy of the Council for International Trade Development to discuss the expansion of bilateral trade, increased investment, and the development of industrial cooperation.

According to the Chamber’s press release, both sides emphasized strengthening relations between the private sectors of Afghanistan and China and creating more opportunities for joint investment. The development of economic and industrial cooperation between Kabul and Beijing was highlighted as a key focus of the discussions.

The press release stated that both parties expressed their support for expanding trade interactions, creating new investment opportunities, and consolidating cooperation between traders and investors from the two countries.

The Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment leadership delegation traveled to China to engage with Chinese officials on enhancing trade and industrial relations. In recent years, China has become one of Afghanistan’s major trading partners, and the country’s private sector hopes that these meetings will facilitate further economic cooperation.
