Taliban Administration Says 61 Development Projects Implemented in Farah

Taliban officials in Farah have said that 61 development projects were implemented in the province in the first six months of the current year at a cost of 1.943 billion Afghanis.

Mawlawi Jamaluddin Jalali, head of the Farah economy department, told the media that the funding for these projects was provided with financial support from the Taliban administration and partner organisations.

According to him, the projects were carried out in the areas of health, education, customs, religious guidance, Hajj and endowments, municipal services, transport and social affairs.

Farah is one of Afghanistan’s western provinces, bordering Iran, and its capital is the city of Farah.
