Israeli Air and Artillery Strikes Continue Across South Lebanon

Media reports show that Israeli air and ground attacks on various areas of southern Lebanon have continued, with several locations in the Tyre and Marjayoun governorates coming under fire.
According to Al Jazeera, Israeli warplanes bombed the al-Mansouri area in Tyre, while the Sarbin area was also targeted in the attacks. At the same time, Israeli artillery shelled the Zibqin area.
The report also said two more airstrikes targeted the areas of Beit and Yater. The course of the Litani River in the al-Khardali area was also hit as a result of heavy artillery shelling.
Media outlets also reported a powerful explosion in the Beit al-Sayyad area of the city of Tyre. In Marjayoun, Israeli bulldozers demolished a number of homes.
The Bani Hayyan area also came under artillery fire and saw the destruction of residents’ homes. In recent months, southern Lebanon has repeatedly been the scene of retaliatory attacks and escalating clashes between Israel and armed groups based in the area.
