Magnetic Mine Explosion in Kabul’s Dasht-e Barchi Leaves One Wounded

Local sources say one person was wounded and taken to hospital after a magnetic mine exploded in Kabul’s Dasht-e Barchi area.
According to the sources, the explosion occurred on Saturday evening, 31 Asad, near a bakery on Shahid Mazari Road and targeted a Corolla car.
No further details have yet been released about the identity of the injured person or the extent of the damage caused by the incident.
The blast came days after another explosion outside the private Sham-e Hedayat school in the Mahdia Town area of Dasht-e Barchi, which left dozens of people wounded. Dasht-e Barchi is a district in western Kabul that has repeatedly seen similar incidents in recent years.
