Construction of Girls’ School Begins in Farah’s Anardara District

Construction has begun on the Haji Esmatullah Habibi girls’ school in Dehkan village in Anardara district of Farah province, an educational centre that is expected to provide schooling for 300 girls.

The school is being built by the Haji Esmatullah Habibi Charity Foundation at a cost of $100,000. According to the information provided, the educational centre will be constructed on a 1,000-square-metre plot of land.

The school plan includes 10 classrooms, administrative offices, a computer room, a library, electricity, drinking water, toilets, a sports field and green space. According to Khalil Ahmad Habibi, deputy head of the foundation, construction will be completed within one year.

Residents of Dehkan village have welcomed the start of construction. They said the completion of the project will provide girls in the area with access to education in a safe and suitable environment.

Anardara district is located in Farah province, and a number of its remote areas face a shortage of educational facilities, making the establishment of new educational centres important for local residents.
