Mashhad Office Extends Amayesh Card Renewal Deadline to October 31, 2026

Mashhad Office 504 has announced that the renewal process for Amayesh cards and family travel documents for foreign nationals will continue until October 31, 2026, and holders of these documents must visit within the specified period for renewal.
The notice warned that failing to appear within the deadline could create problems in receiving residency, banking, insurance and medical services, and that any consequences arising from the delay will be the responsibility of the individual concerned.
According to the office, the renewal applies to holders of Amayesh cards, family travel documents and other valid residence documents, and applicants must complete and bring the required identity and residency documents before visiting.
Mashhad Office 504 added that, under Interior Ministry guidelines, having a Sana code for those over 18, registering a residence tracking code, and providing health insurance or social security coverage for family members are among the conditions for document renewal this year.
The office also stressed that applicants should only visit the same office where their residency file is registered and avoid going to other offices.
In another part of the notice, citing increased traffic in the final days, foreign nationals were asked not to leave document renewal until the last days so they do not face crowding and delays in processing.
Kefalat offices in Iran handle part of the administrative procedures related to the residency of foreign nationals, and based on repeated warnings from these offices and the Bureau for Aliens and Foreign Immigrants Affairs, renewing residence documents before the announced deadline is described as essential to prevent service disruption and legal problems.
