Nimroz Youth Donate 15,000 cc of Blood to Patients

Officials at the 100-bed hospital in Nimroz province announced that 30 units of blood, equivalent to 15,000 cc, were donated by a group of young people affiliated with the Department of Information and Culture of the province to the hospital’s blood bank.

Qudratullah Salik, head of the hospital laboratory, stated that this amount of blood was collected to meet the needs of patients requiring blood and has been added to the hospital’s blood bank.

Mufti Habibullah Elham, head of Information and Culture in Nimroz under the Taliban administration, expressed his appreciation to the participants during the event, emphasizing that the purpose of donating blood is to help patients and promote a culture of cooperation. Mawlawi Nematullah Mohammadi, head of youth affairs at this department, was also present at the event.

Blood banks in remote provinces like Nimroz have consistently faced shortages in blood supplies, and government hospitals rely on voluntary citizen cooperation to treat urgent patients.
