Pakistan Embassy Issues Visas for Afghanistan National Volleyball Team

The Pakistan Embassy in Kabul has announced that visas for members of the Afghanistan national volleyball team have been issued, removing administrative obstacles to the team’s travel.

A Pakistani diplomat in Kabul told Afghanistan International that out of 22 applications submitted, 20 were approved and visas were issued by Tuesday evening, with the remaining two still under review.

Previously, the Afghanistan Volleyball Federation had stated that the national team was unable to participate in the Central Asian Zone Volleyball Championships due to the visas not being issued.

The Central Asian Zone Championships are a regional competition overseen by the Asian Volleyball Confederation, involving national teams from countries in the area.
