Iranian Military Launches Drone Attacks on Three US Bases in Kuwait
The Public Relations Office of the Islamic Republic of Iran Army announced that at dawn today, during the nineteenth phase of the “Sa’eqa” operation, three American military bases in Kuwait were targeted in drone attacks. According to the statement, the Ahmad Al-Jaber, Al-Adairy, and Camp Arifjan bases were struck in this operation.
The Iranian Army’s declaration stated that administrative buildings and direction-finding antennas at Camp Arifjan, the helicopter parking area at Al-Adairy camp, and the American forces’ deployment site at Ahmad Al-Jaber base were targeted.
Camp Arifjan is considered one of the key centers for the deployment and command of US ground forces in the Southwest Asia region. It is also reported that Al-Adairy base hosts Apache, Chinook, and Black Hawk helicopters, while Ahmad Al-Jaber base serves as a vital hub for support and aerial operations of American forces in the area.
In its statement, the Islamic Republic of Iran Army claimed that this action was taken in response to what it described as the repeated “hostilities and breaches of agreements” by the United States, aiming to restore security in the region.
