33 Critically Injured Transferred to Kabul Following Pakistani Airstrikes in Eastern Afghanistan

Health officials have reported that 33 critically injured victims of Pakistan’s airstrikes in eastern Afghan provinces have been airlifted to Kabul for urgent medical treatment. These individuals have been admitted to government hospitals in the capital and are under the care of specialized medical teams.
According to these officials, these 33 patients are part of a total of 66 critically wounded identified after last night’s attacks on residential areas in the provinces of Paktia, Paktika, and Kunar. No new information has yet been released regarding the condition of other critically injured patients or the possibility of their transfer to Kabul.
The Taliban administration has held Pakistan responsible for these attacks, stating that at least 36 civilians, including women and children, have been killed and 163 others injured. The administration added that investigations are ongoing to clarify the full extent of casualties and damages.
These attacks have drawn reactions both domestically and internationally. Several former Afghan officials and some international figures have called for a reduction in tensions between the two sides and urged resolving disputes through dialogue.
