University Entrance Exam 1405 Concludes with Participation of 120,000 Candidates Nationwide

The General Directorate of Examinations announced that the 1405 university entrance exam (Konkur) has concluded with approximately 120,000 candidates participating across the country. According to the directorate, this year’s exam was managed transparently and systematically.
In a newsletter published by the directorate, this year’s Konkur was described as an important step forward in advancing the country’s scientific progress. Officials emphasized that the exam was conducted based on a precise plan and organized management, with the collaboration of various sectors playing a key role in its success.
The 1405 Konkur was held in four stages. In the first stage, candidates from 15 provinces participated, followed by 18 other provinces covered in the second stage. The third stage was specifically for graduates of the 12th grade from Kabul province.
In the final stage, candidates who had not taken part in the previous three stages, graduates living abroad, ethnic and tribal graduates, graduates of religious schools in Kabul, 14th-grade graduates, as well as evening faculty candidates also joined the examination process. The Konkur is annually considered one of the most significant nationwide exams for young people seeking admission to the country’s higher education institutions.
