Sar-e Pul Coal Sales Begin with Lower Prices to Boost Industry

The National Development Company has announced the commencement of coal sales extracted from the Tagab Takht, Gul Arooz, and Gwakh mines in the Balkhab district of Sar-e Pul province. According to the company, the coal from these areas has a high calorific value, producing temperatures exceeding 7,000 degrees.

Company officials stated that this product is being offered to the market at lower tariffs and prices to reduce production costs for industrialists and to facilitate the strengthening of commercial activities. They said the aim of this measure is to support the domestic market and ease traders’ access to energy resources.

According to the information provided, necessary facilities have also been established for the transportation and delivery of coal. The National Development Company emphasized that by providing these facilities, it seeks to simplify the business environment for traders and make access to this energy source more organized.

Sar-e Pul province is among the northern regions of the country with significant coal reserves, and the Balkhab mines are considered important sources of fuel supply for some production sectors.
