Kabul Municipality Designates Specific Areas for Eid Livestock Sales

The Kabul Municipality has announced designated areas in 22 districts of the city for buying and selling livestock during the Eid days. The aim of this measure is to prevent overcrowding, maintain urban cleanliness, and better manage traffic flow.
According to the municipality’s statement, the allocation of these areas is intended to facilitate convenience for residents, prevent unorganized livestock sales on roads and crowded places, reduce environmental pollution, and improve traffic regulation.
The Kabul Municipality has urged vendors to conduct their activities only in the specified locations and to avoid blocking roads, sidewalks, and crowded spots.
In previous years, many Kabul residents have complained about uncontrolled livestock sales on roads and public passages, a situation that not only caused traffic congestion but also environmental pollution and made it difficult for citizens to move around.
