US Military Launches New Attack in Pacific Ocean, Three Dead

The United States Southern Command (SOUTHCOM) announced that an attack by US forces on a vessel in the eastern Pacific Ocean resulted in three fatalities. According to the US military, the operation aimed to combat drug trafficking and no American personnel were harmed.

SOUTHCOM released a video stating that the attack was ordered by General Francis L. Donovan, the command’s leader. The targeted ship was described as being “under the control of terrorist organizations” and was traveling along a known drug trafficking route in the eastern Pacific Ocean.

The US military claimed that intelligence confirmed the involvement of the ship in drug smuggling activities. However, no further details have been disclosed regarding the identities, nationalities of the deceased, or the specifics of how the vessel was identified and targeted.

This incident occurred less than a day after a similar attack in the Caribbean Sea, which SOUTHCOM reported resulted in two deaths. According to statistics provided by the command, at least 22 people have died in attacks related to SOUTHCOM operations in the region since April.

US military cross-border operations in international waters have consistently sparked debates about their legal basis and human consequences, an issue that has once again drawn attention as these attacks continue.
