Taliban Leadership Reshuffles 19 Senior Officials Amid Widespread Criticism

The leader of the Taliban administration has once again transferred 19 senior officials from one post to another in a fresh directive. This move sparked a wave of criticism on social media, with some observers describing it as “administrative copy-pasting.”
According to a statement released by Zabihullah Mujahid, the spokesperson for the Taliban administration, Mullah Abdul Ahad Fazeli from Faryab province has been appointed as the Minister of Telecommunications and Information Technology, while Mullah Mohammad Hanif Hamza has been transferred from Badghis to Faryab. Several provincial governors and police commanders are also included in these changes.
The new list features figures who previously held similar positions in other provinces and are now assigned to Khost, Baghlan, Maidan Wardak, and Logar provinces. These reshuffles primarily involve a limited circle of individuals.
Following the announcement, social media users responded critically. Many citizens wrote that these decisions resemble the reshuffling of seats among certain individuals rather than appointing new and specialized faces.
Others pointed to the widespread unemployment in the country, stating that while thousands of educated and skilled young Afghans remain jobless, responsibilities continue to circulate within a limited group. Critics emphasized that the continuation of this trend could negatively impact the efficiency of administrations and public trust.
