Over $650,000 in Aid Sent from Herat to Gaza Amid Ongoing Crisis

Officials overseeing the collection of public donations for Gaza in Herat province report that since the start of the campaign, more than $650,000 has been gathered from residents and dispatched to Gaza in dozens of shipments.

Coinciding with the sending of the 124th batch of aid, Mufti Amir Mohammad Khadem, the coordinator of the effort in Herat, announced that in the 123rd phase alone, $6,000 in cash along with an aid shipment was prepared and sent by citizens of Herat and neighboring western provinces.

He stated that these donations have been delivered to various areas of Gaza, especially Rafah, and are distributed transparently among those in need. The officials stress that the process of transferring and monitoring the distribution of aid is conducted regularly.

Those involved in the program say the campaign continues and efforts are being made to send fresh shipments from Herat to Gaza every week. They have called on residents to continue their cooperation and support to sustain this humanitarian assistance.

These donations are being collected amid widespread attacks by the Israeli regime on Gaza, which have resulted in thousands of deaths and left the region facing severe humanitarian and economic crises.
