24 Lebanese Killed in Israeli Attacks on Southern Lebanon

Lebanon’s Ministry of Health has reported that at least 24 people have been killed and dozens wounded in recent Israeli attacks targeting multiple towns and villages in southern Lebanon. Official statistics indicate that the attack on the town of Jouya in the Tyre district alone resulted in two fatalities and 22 injuries, including five children.
The Emergency Medical Center affiliated with Lebanon’s Ministry of Health confirmed that the total number of casualties in Jouya reached 24. Meanwhile, in yesterday’s assault on the village of Majdal Zun, nine individuals were killed, including three paramedics, and 17 others were injured.
An Al Jazeera correspondent reported that an Israeli drone targeted Majdal Zun, and in a separate strike, a motorcycle traveling between the towns of Hariss and Hdatha was also hit. These air attacks occurred as residents continue to report ongoing drone flights over residential areas.
In addition to human casualties, reports indicate that Israeli forces have carried out new demolitions in the town of Rashaf, blowing up several residential homes. Furthermore, in Al-Nabatieh Al-Fawqa, an historic house over a century old was destroyed by occupying forces.
The continuation of attacks on residential areas and the destruction of civilian infrastructure in southern Lebanon has heightened concerns over rising civilian casualties and violations of humanitarian principles, a matter consistently stressed by international organizations.
