Taliban administration launches Afghan Tour transport services at Herat airport

The Taliban administration’s General Directorate of State-Owned Companies says the state-owned company Afghan Tour has begun transport services at Herat International Airport to carry tourists and foreign passengers.

In a statement, the directorate said the launch of these services will create the conditions for the “safe and orderly transfer” of passengers from Herat International Airport to Herat city, tourist areas and neighboring provinces.

Afghan Tour said the aim of launching the service is to make travel easier for foreign tourists, promote Afghanistan’s tourism potential and provide standard services.

Herat International Airport is located in western Afghanistan and is considered one of the important air traffic routes in the region.
