Ansar Allah Leader Warns of ‘Dangerous Phase’ in US and Israeli Aggression

Sayyid Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, leader of Yemen’s Ansar Allah movement, stated that he believes the aggression by the United States and Israel against the Islamic Ummah has entered a “advanced and very dangerous” phase at the dawn of the third millennium CE. He emphasized that this trend is pursued under various titles and slogans.
Al-Houthi made these remarks on the anniversary of the declaration of the slogan “Cry Out Against the Oppressors,” a motto first introduced by the movement’s founder, the martyr Quranic scholar Sayyid Hussein Badr al-Din al-Houthi (may God have mercy on him). According to him, this slogan was announced on the 4th of Dhu al-Qi’dah, 1422 Hijri, corresponding to January 17, 2002, at the Imam Hadi School in the Marran area of Saada governorate.
The leader of Ansar Allah described this occasion as a moment to raise awareness and keep alive what he called the “Quranic stance,” stating that the cry against the oppressors is a cry of truth against tyranny and arrogance. He added that this slogan holds faith-based value and practical significance at one of the most sensitive historical junctures.
Al-Houthi also referred to what he termed the “Jewish-Zionist and American assault,” saying this process has been pursued under titles such as “Changing the Middle East” and “Fighting Terrorism,” which he labeled deceptive. He claimed that these developments have been accompanied by some regimes and regional leaders hastening to announce loyalty and alliance with the enemies.
He described alliance with the enemies as, from his point of view, a retreat from Islamic principles and religious values and considered it one of the manifestations of deviation from Islamic teachings.
