Saudi Arabia Distributes 1,490 Food Packages in Kabul and Panjshir

The Saudi Arabian Embassy in Afghanistan has announced that the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center has distributed 1,490 food packages in the provinces of Kabul and Panjshir. According to a statement from the embassy, these aids have been allocated to needy individuals and returning migrants.
Details reveal that 490 food packages were distributed among returning migrants in Kabul, while 1,000 packages were given to residents of Panjshir province. The initiative aims to support families facing economic difficulties.
The Saudi Embassy stated that this effort is part of the “Food Security and Emergency Assistance in Afghanistan” program for the years 2025 to 2026.
In recent months, the King Salman Center has increased its distribution of aid packages in Afghanistan. These efforts continue amid many families, especially returning migrants, struggling with livelihood challenges and a shortage of job opportunities.
