Deadly Clash Between Pakistani Taliban and ISIS-K Kills at Least Four in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

A violent armed clash between members of the Pakistani Taliban and fighters from the ISIS-Khorasan branch in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province has left at least four people dead and several others wounded. The incident took place in the Shikhan area of the Orakzai district.
According to reports, the two sides exchanged fire using small arms. Local sources stated that the clash erupted following rising tensions between affiliates of the two groups.
The main cause of the fighting is believed to be a dispute over extortion payments, highlighting financial rivalries and struggles for influence among armed groups in parts of the province.
Among the dead are three ISIS-Khorasan members, including a commander named Abid, also known as Hamza. Additionally, one Pakistani Taliban member was killed, and three others from the group were wounded.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has witnessed ongoing activity and clashes among various armed factions in recent years, raising concerns about security and stability in this region of Pakistan.
