Taliban Health Minister Announces Completion of Maroof District Hospital in Kandahar

The Taliban’s Minister of Public Health, during his visit to Kandahar province, met with tribal elders from Maroof district and discussed plans to address the healthcare challenges in the area.
According to local officials, the tribal elders requested the Ministry of Public Health to provide essential medical facilities for the residents of Maroof district. They expressed concern over the shortage of healthcare services, particularly in remote areas.
In response, the Taliban’s Health Minister assured that resolving the healthcare issues in Maroof district is a priority for the ministry and that delivering medical services to distant regions remains a fundamental focus.
He further stated that the hospital currently under construction in Maroof district will be completed soon and officially inaugurated. This promise comes amid ongoing complaints from local residents about delays in fulfilling commitments and limited access to healthcare services.
