Afghanistan Futsal Coach Outlines Plans for Asian Cup Campaign

The head coach of Afghanistan’s national futsal team has announced that the coaching staff has developed specific and phased plans for all matches in the Asian Cup, aiming to deliver respectable performances and achieve positive results.
Jaid Mortazayi stated on Tuesday, 26 January, during a press conference that Afghanistan’s futsal team has experienced steady growth in recent years, and efforts are being made to sustain this progress consistently. According to him, the main focus has been on strengthening the technical structure and enhancing coordination among players.
The head coach emphasized that the ultimate goal is to establish the team’s position among the region’s top squads. He added that participating in such competitions offers an important opportunity to assess the team’s abilities at the Asian level and move closer to global standards.
The Asian Cup tournament began on Tuesday, hosted by Indonesia, and Afghanistan’s futsal team is scheduled to face Saudi Arabia in its opening match tomorrow.
