Professional Training Programs Launched for Forced Returnees from Pakistan in Nangarhar

Professional training programs have been launched in Nangarhar province in collaboration with the Qatar Red Crescent for Afghan residents who have been forcibly expelled from Pakistan. These initiatives aim to create job opportunities and help reintegrate returnees into society.

Officials from the Nangarhar Department of Labor and Social Affairs stated that in the past year alone, approximately seventy thousand young people in the province have graduated from various professional training courses. According to them, these trainings include skills that can provide sustainable employment opportunities for the youth.

Additionally, the department announced that work opportunities through training in twenty-seven different trades have been facilitated for about nine thousand individuals recovering from addiction. Officials said this effort is part of measures to reduce unemployment and the social consequences of addiction in various areas of Nangarhar.
