Afghanistan’s Health Minister Visits Parwan to Assess Medical Services and Pledge Improvements

Noor Jalal Jalali, Afghanistan’s Minister of Public Health, conducted a working visit to Parwan province to closely examine the state of healthcare services and promised to address the existing challenges.

According to released information, Mr. Jalali visited the partially completed 200-bed civilian hospital building in Parwan, a project that remains unfinished over time and fails to meet the healthcare needs of the province’s residents.

The Minister also toured an operational 100-bed hospital and met with several patients. During these visits, he listened to concerns regarding medical service issues and emphasized improving public access to healthcare.

Residents of Parwan have repeatedly complained about the lack of facilities, delays in completing healthcare projects, and the strain on medical centers—issues that require concrete action and accountability from the Taliban administration.
