Coordination Meeting Held to Boost Fire Preparedness in Balkh Province
A coordination meeting between the Incident Response and Firefighting Directorate of Balkh Police Command and the Provincial Department of Industry and Commerce was held with the aim of enhancing fire preparedness and strengthening joint cooperation.
According to the press office of the Balkh Police Command, the meeting was attended by Hafez Noorullah Ansar, General Director of Incident Response and Firefighting at the Ministry of Interior Affairs, Mohammad Ibrahim Ghazanfar, Head of the Balkh Chamber of Industry and Commerce, along with several government officials and traders.
The General Director of Incident Response and Firefighting stated that the main focus of the program is to raise awareness among industrialists and factory owners regarding safety principles, train staff on the proper use of firefighting equipment, and implement fire prevention standards in commercial and industrial centers.
Simultaneously, the Director of Firefighting at the Balkh Police Command considered close cooperation with the Department of Industry and Commerce as a crucial factor in reducing fire hazards and emphasized expanding such collaborations throughout the province.
Meanwhile, the Head of the Balkh Chamber of Industry and Commerce highlighted the importance of continuing such meetings and pledged to give greater priority to safety issues in the department’s work plans and awareness campaigns.
In conclusion, both parties emphasized the continuation of cooperation and the implementation of decisions made to increase the security of commercial and industrial centers in Balkh.
