Health Centers Operating in Torkham to Assist Returnees from Pakistan

The Nangarhar Public Health Directorate has announced that 12 health centers, a 20-bed hospital, and a special center for people with disabilities are operational at the Torkham border crossing to provide immediate medical care for returnees from Pakistan.

According to the directorate, all these facilities offer 24-hour health services to meet the medical needs of returnees upon their entry into the country.

Officials also added that 12 ambulances are on standby in the area to transport patients and respond promptly to emergencies.

The Nangarhar Public Health Directorate emphasized that the operations of these centers are regularly monitored to maintain the quality of healthcare services.
