Protests Escalate in Occupied Territories; Demonstrators Detained Outside Netanyahu’s Office

Hebrew-language media have reported that internal protests have intensified in parts of the occupied territories, with a number of demonstrators blocking roads and gathering outside Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office.
According to these reports, protesters have blocked one of the main roads near the Kiryat Shmona settlement in the northern occupied territories. This protest action was in response to the living conditions of residents and what is described as neglect of the affected areas in this region.
Earlier, Yedioth Ahronoth acknowledged that more than a year after the end of the war with Lebanon’s Hezbollah, parts of Kiryat Shmona damaged during the clashes have not yet been fully rebuilt, leading to widespread dissatisfaction among the residents.
At the same time, Channel 7, an Israeli television network, reported that during the demonstration outside Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office, three protesters were arrested. The gathering was held in protest of the failure to establish a fact-finding committee regarding the operation known as “Al-Aqsa Storm.”
