Lebanese Army Uncovers and Destroys Israeli Spy System in Southern Lebanon
The Lebanese army announced that, continuing its security operations, it discovered and destroyed a hidden Israeli spy system in southern Lebanon. Equipped with surveillance cameras, the system was identified in a border area. According to an official statement from the Lebanese army, a specialized military unit found and destroyed the espionage equipment in the Yaaroun area of the Bint Jbeil district. The army stated that this action was part of efforts to clear the southern regions and coincided with ongoing Israeli aggressions. The Lebanese army command emphasized the danger posed by such equipment and urged residents to avoid any suspicious objects and not to touch them without notifying security authorities. Official sources noted that this incident is not the first detection of Israeli spy equipment in southern Lebanon, as similar cases have been reported in various parts of the country before. This issue has heightened concerns over repeated violations of Lebanon’s sovereignty.
