Key Section of Afghanistan’s Ring Road Construction Completed, Connecting Kabul to Northern Provinces

The Public Affairs Directorate of the Taliban administration has announced the completion of a significant construction phase of Afghanistan’s Ring Road, a key infrastructure project that plays a crucial role in linking the provinces to the capital.
According to the directorate, the Armalik–Laman road, stretching 52 kilometers, has been fully paved and now connects Kabul with 14 northern provinces. This route is part of the wider Afghan Ring Road network that facilitates connectivity across various regions of the country.
Officials from the Public Affairs Directorate added that efforts are ongoing to organize, regulate, and complete the remaining work on this national project. Planning for further construction on other sections is also underway.
The entire Afghanistan Ring Road extends over 3,000 kilometers, and its completion is expected to significantly improve transportation, the movement of commercial goods, and residents’ access to essential services.
