Afghan and Kyrgyz Businesses Sign $156 Million in Trade Agreements

The Taliban-run Ministry of Industry and Commerce has announced that Afghan and Kyrgyz traders signed trade agreements worth over $156 million during the Afghanistan-Kyrgyzstan Business Connectivity Conference held in Kabul.
According to the information released, the conference was attended by economic officials from both countries and representatives from the private sector. The primary goal of the event was to expand commercial relations and promote joint investments between Afghanistan and Kyrgyzstan.
The ministry stated that the signed agreements cover a wide range of economic sectors, including gold, spices, footwear, telecommunications, mining and energy, logistics and transportation, agriculture, construction, and banking.
Additionally, the conference featured two separate presentations by delegations from Afghanistan and Kyrgyzstan, highlighting investment opportunities to help familiarize traders with potential areas for increased cooperation.
