UNDP Funds Development Projects in Farah Province to Improve Infrastructure

Implementation of three development projects, including the construction of a bridge, seven kilometers of gravel road, and a 270-meter retaining wall in Farah province center, has begun. The estimated cost of these projects is approximately 14 million Afghanis. These initiatives are being carried out with financial support from the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). The projects commence at a time when Afghanistan’s infrastructure urgently requires attention and investment, although restrictions and the Taliban’s governance conditions have complicated the execution of development efforts.
