Russia’s Lavrov Meets Saudi Foreign Minister in Manama

Russia’s Foreign Ministry said Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov met with Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan in Manama, the capital of Bahrain. The talks were held on the sidelines of the ninth round of the Russia-Gulf Cooperation Council strategic dialogue.

Maria Zakharova, the official spokeswoman for the Russian Foreign Ministry, posted a picture of the meeting and described it as part of the two countries’ foreign ministers’ talks in Manama.

Earlier, the Russian Foreign Ministry said Sergei Lavrov would travel to Tehran on 27 Mehr 1405 to meet and hold talks with Seyed Abbas Araghchi, the foreign minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran. The trip is being made as part of Russia’s diplomatic consultations with regional countries.
